The Merchant's Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Little Oddities Curiosities shop — the catalogue, the Curiosity Cabinet, and the journey each treasure takes to reach you. Please read them before you begin your journey.

Who the Merchant is

Little Oddities Curiosities is an independent shop. The Merchant hand-makes every treasure and tends the Curiosity Cabinet directly. You can reach the Merchant at Send Word to the Merchant or through the Merchant's Instagram.

What the shop provides

The shop offers handmade bracelets ("treasures") and the website that lets travellers browse the catalogue, save treasures to their Curiosity Cabinet, and place orders for delivery.

Using the shop

You are welcome to browse the catalogue and use the Curiosity Cabinet. You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract (18 years or over, unless your local law treats you as an adult earlier) to place an order.

You agree not to misuse the shop — for example, not to probe, scrape, or interfere with how the Curiosity Cabinet or catalogue works.

Accounts

Creating a "Recognised Traveller" account is optional for browsing and purchasing, but is required to use the full Traveller's Keepings — the Satchel (wishlist), the Map (saved delivery addresses), and the Merchant's Messages (order history). You are responsible for keeping your password secret. See Traveller's Privacy for how your account information is handled.

Placing an order

When you proceed to payment, your selected treasures are sent to the Merchant's secure checkout. You will need to confirm your name, email address, choose a shipping method, and authorise payment. By placing an order you are making an offer to buy the treasures shown.

The shop is hosted in the United Kingdom and all transactions are processed in GBP (£). Shipping is currently within the United Kingdom only.

Products and descriptions

Every treasure is handmade, which means small variations are part of what makes each piece special. The Merchant does its best to describe treasures accurately, but no description is a guarantee of exact appearance or colour reproduction on every screen.

Pricing and payment

Prices shown in the catalogue include the treasure and are displayed in GBP. The total you pay at checkout includes your chosen shipping method.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The Merchant never sees or stores your card details — those are handled entirely by Stripe's hosted checkout. See Traveller's Privacy for more on payment processing.

Availability

The Curiosity Cabinet reflects the treasures the Merchant has to hand. Stock levels are checked before you can complete a purchase. If a treasure you selected has become unavailable between adding it and paying, the shop will let you know.

Order acceptance

An order is only confirmed once payment is authorised. After a successful payment you will see a confirmation page, and the Merchant will begin preparing your treasure for its journey.

Delivery

The Merchant aims to dispatch treasures within 1–3 working days. Delivery is by Royal Mail (Royal Courier or Royal Courier Tracked), and free shipping is applied automatically when your treasure subtotal reaches £30.00. See Shipping & Delivery for the full picture.

Cancellations and returns

Your right to cancel, how to return a treasure, and the Merchant's returns and refunds policy are all set out on Merchant's Returns & Refunds. Please read that page before you place an order if you would like to know how things work.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect treasures

If a treasure arrives damaged, faulty, or the wrong one by mistake, your statutory rights are unaffected. Please Send Word to the Merchant with a photograph and your order number so the issue can be resolved. Full details are on Merchant's Returns & Refunds.

Intellectual property

All content on the shop — including the Merchant's Guide, product descriptions, imagery, and the Curiousities branding — is the property of Little Oddities Curiosities unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute it without the Merchant's permission.

Changes to these Terms

The Merchant may update these Terms from time to time. The version shown here is the current set. Material changes will be posted on this page.

Contact and complaints

If you have a question, suggestion, or complaint, the Merchant is happy to hear from you. The quickest way is to Send Word to the Merchant with your order number, or reach out through Instagram. The Merchant aims to respond as soon as the candle is lit.

Need help?

For anything not covered above, please Send Word to the Merchant with your order number and the Merchant will help.

These Terms do not remove or limit your statutory rights.
